フリートークでお願いしました。
ご自身の考え方などを話してくださったり、こちらに質問をふってくれたり、詰まった場合も待ってくれたり・・・と会話しやすい雰囲気でとても満足です。
スラスラとは話せないのですが、言いたいことは理解してくださり、また相槌も入れてくれるので、伝わってるかどうかがこちらにも分かりやすく、あっという間にレッスン時間が終わってしまいました。

わかりやすいよう、ゆっくりめに話してくれていると思います。
語順や言い方が多少違っても予測して理解してくれるし、正しい言い換えを教えてくれたりして、スムーズに会話が進みます。
また、話を促すように待ってくれたり、質問してくれたり、と一方的に講師が話すような場面はありませんでした。
フリートークですが、とても良いレッスンで満足でした。

帰国子女の子どもが定期に受講しています。オンラインの読み物を一緒に読んで、内容についてQ&Aをしていくということが多いのですが、時々お話を読んだだけで終わりになることがあります。それだと市販のCD等をディクテーションさせているのと変わりないので、途中で区切って残りの時間はお話の内容や感想についての時間に充てる等、時間配分を工夫してほしいなと思いました。
明るくて優しい先生なので、英会話始めたばかりのお子さんや、フリートークをしたい方にはぴったりだと思います。

Pleasure talking to you. We perused an article on the summit meeting between the U.S. and South Korea; Biden expressed support for inter-Korean cooperation. While avoiding naming China, the joint statement clearly stated that "the two leaders stress the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait," which was obviously requested by Biden—Moon Jae-in did not want to provoke China. We also discussed the possibility of South Korea joining the Quad in the future, although this is probably premature to talk about.

We mainly talked about the conflict between Hamas and Israel. Israel fired artillery into Gaza and had been against Hamas for 11 days, but Egypt finally proposed the halt in hostilities. At least of 232 Palestinians and 12 people in Israel have been killed in the violence. Some of attacks took place at refugee camps, hospitals and schools where Israel accuses Hamas of using human shields to try to protect its military operations. Even though Egypt proposed unconditional bilateral truce, it is a historical issue, the conflict between Arab and Israel has been for a long time and it doesn't mean their conflicts are completely resolved.

Starting from small talk about daily lives pleasantly,
I learned and practiced 3 idioms
A penny for your thoughts
Ball is in somebody’s court
Barking up the wrong tree
Jeff clearly explained the meaning to me and showed me
many helpful pictures to understand the situations.
It's very effective.
Lastly he asked me questions about education and I answered.
When I failed the main point of the question, he gave me his model answer
and I could find what I should focus on to answer.
And his swift typing for correction really helps me to understand new things.
