John skived off work again today.
The lazy slug can`t stick with anything, always whining, whinging about life.

We talked about how architecture skills have been passed down in Japan. We also talked about apprenticeships in both Europe and Japan. Thank you for helping me with using many words.

Rivers never cease to flow and never stay the same. Even where the water looks stagnant, the bubbles rise, form and disappear with no exception. Nothing stays the same even in human society - man and his home... One is to die in the morning . Another is to be born in the evening. Everything is in an ever- changing flow of birth and death.
by Kamo no Tchomay Diaty from a Cabin
Kamo no Tchomay says you can put yourself in any frame of mind. It's open to opportunities once you peacefully accept disappointments. Life is once strong but fragile next moment. The link between the metaphor of stream and its bubbles and the idea of recurrent birth death represents this idea well. Stop clinging to what you believe you should do. Let life flow. He can be compared to Henry David Thoreau. Japanese traditional sensitivity or mentality is based on the idea of impermanence of all things, meaning that everything is inconsistent, variable and shifting.

Great talking to you, Vlada. The cheesecake i made seemed perfect. But it was a little soft. Maybe the yogurt wasn't squeezed enough.
Well, next time I make a chocolate cake with grind some orange zest.
Thank you for your good advive.

The venue for the first Olympic Games, held in 779 B.C., was Olympia, Greece, an idyllic rural setting with a stadium, three sacred temples, and only one inn for guests. The quiet village would become a boisterous hub of ancient sports and entertainment every four years. Peripheral distractions included artistic and literary events, as well as more frivolous entertainment such as fortune-telling and fire-eating displays.
Athletes showed up at the nearby city of Elis one month before the Games. They underwent a stringent training regimen and weaker athletes candidates, who were not cut out for Olympic competitions, would be weeded out. Before entering the stadium for the Games, athletes went to a temple to swear an oath they would abide by Game rules. Athletes would also invoke the gods, pleading for power to vanquish their oponents.
Olympic officials worried that athletes would turn elsewhere in their efforts to win. It was said that some athletes used powerful potions to enhance their perfomance. Others placed curses on their opponents. Corruptions entered the Games in other forms from the 4th century B.C. Eupolus, a boxer was caught bribing his opponents, who had been asked to throw their matches. Although the early Olympic Games are considered to have been clean and fair overall, wrongdoing has a fairly long history.

I was enchanted by your pronounciation, Chele. Your story about the accident was sad but you made me feel warm. I hope to be a good speaker like you. I have to make effort for it. Please support me and cheer me up, Chele. Take care and stay strong.
