 写真は怖い顔をしていますが気さくなオジサンです。時事問題から超常現象までたくさんの話題で2コマを使ってフリートークをしています。今回はコロナ関連の記事を事前に送付してもらい、私が記事内容をまとめたメモを添削しつつ、意見交換をしました。英文記事に目を通すのは苦痛ではありますが興味のある内容であるし、レッスンの予習となるので早めに送ってもらいました。

 今日は、日本のファミレスやお菓子のお話をしました。例えば、HARIBOだったら、日本ではすごく高いけど、アメリカだとすごく安いよ、と教えてくれました。アシュリー先生はココスが好きだそうで、ココスがいろんな国の郷土料理を打っているからだそうです。やっぱり、アシュリー先生はめちゃめちゃご飯好きですね。
