We mostly discussed opinions of athletes about Tokyo Olympics. Most athletes were very much looking forward to socializing with other athletes , however that will not happen and that's very disheartening for them. At the same time, most athletes are very enthusiastic about the game and are ready to fight against other athletes no matter what. Also , we talked about the same sex marriage. Japan doesn't support it. The reason goes to the heart of Japanese traditions where women should stay home and not work. Society tends not to accept abnormal things. Same sex marriage doesn't fit into all the government requirements for marriage. For example, when a man dies, the wife can get his pension. However, when the women dies, the husband doesn't receive his wife's pension. |
