 “Tango-no-Sekku” is one of Japanese events for boys. I showed my son’s “兜（Kabuto）”to Tina-sensei. And I tried to read a picture book of “金太郎（Kintaro）” which is symbolized a Tango-no-Sekku doll. Next time, she will show the old Filipino tales. I can’t wait to hear that.

 I booked two lessons in a row. This time, our topic was a lifestyle; I discussed how Internet technology had changed Japanese life. Nowadays, creating and sharing, for example, Google documents is child's play, which has made it possible for us to study at a foreign university while working in Japan, which was unthinkable in, say, ten years ago. Although I had a hard time studying online at a graduate school in the U.S., eventually, I could keep up with the classes and find my feet.
